Pets allowed to travel in vehicles
Coming soon in July 2018 Wellington Regional Council voted for
a new law to allow pets onboard. They’ll be able to travel with no extra cost when they ride along with their owner. They’re able to come along on buses, trains and ferries. Any type of domestic pet can come along. The drivers of the vehicle has the rights to refuse against a pet if they do not feel safe or they’re a nuisance.
They’ll only be letting pets go in a carrier bag only to keep the people onboard feel safe. Guide or disability dogs will be permitted to travel without a cage as long they’ll be seated on the floor.📷📷
