Trapped
One cloudy day, when me and my friends were skiing in the mountains, we start to see tiny snowflakes drifting down like a parachutes, it then suddenly started to pour down with snow. It slowly got colder and colder and by the time we came down the mountain it was freezing, I couldn't even feel my face, we hurried back to the nearest cafe. We could see people rushing in to the cafe like a stampede so we hurried into there too. It was incredibly crowded when we got in there, all of the seats were taken and we had nowhere to sit, luckily we could go in the merchandise shop and sit on the edge near the window.
Our parents were already waiting in the cafe so we called them over to sit with us. We sat there nervously for about 3 hours, It felt like a eternal night, the snow kept pouring down as if it was endless. We then heard a person on the intercom said “Buses are on their way to pick everyone up, thank you for your patience” shortly after that we even got free chips!. Hours of long waiting later, we start to see flashing lights starting to slowly approach the cafe, it was the buses! I start to think that we were finally free, everyone lined up to get in the buses. We started to walk out of the cafe, I suddenly felt a gust of wind as strong as a hurricane trying to blow me away. We finally got onto the bus, as we started to slowly slide down the hill, I could see the entire road was practically ice, we could hear the chain on the wheels rattling and the engine rumbling. At last, we got to the bottom of the snowy mountain, we told our friend from the place we were staying at to come pick us up. That will be a experience that I will never forget.
