On Tuesday the 30th of January me and my friend Rhea walked into the back gate so nerves not knowing what to expect for our first day of year 8. We waited anchaly outside of the gym wondering... Who is going to be my teacher ? Are they nice? Am I going to be with my friends? Will they give me a lot of homework?? As all of these questions popped into my head we got invited inside the gym.
The hole Room was buzzing with excitement as we waited for everyone to come in. After what had felt like 8 hours of waiting my best friends finally decided to show up. We were looking at all of the Teachers lined up and trying to decide which ones looked the nicest. “WHISTLE!!” everyone fell silent. As Mrs Ready came to the stage introducing Mr Ellary to come up and do a speech. After about 15 minutes the time had come. Mrs Hulett, the first teacher in the line, started to read out her list. Then suddenly I stopped. All of these people were in my SYN last year.
Straight after Mr Night came up and started to call his list. As me and my friends were all praying to be In the same class, suddenly we heard Saijal’s name was being called she stood up nervously. Then a few names later it was Kiratpreet. They were over the moon they new they had at least one friend in there class. Mollie McHale. Wait it was me. Yes, I had friends in my class, but we new that, that was probably it in are friends group so I zoned out listening when Priyanka stood up we were sooooo happy. When we realised that Diya wasn't here I felt so bad for her having no friends. But then sure enough he called Diya’s name. How had Mr Knight got all of us? I was in shock and was so happy!!!
On Tuesday the 30th of January me, Priyanka, Sajal, Kiratpreet and Diya had all got put in room 19 SYN E for 2018.
