Paris
Last year on my amazing trip to Europe I went to Paris, France. Paris! I told my sister. We were here. As my family and I flew into Paris I could see their most famous landmark The Eiffel Tower! With a few minutes to land I glanced over the city then I was ready to land.
Whilst in Paris I went to 4 of these landmarks. The Arc De Triomphe, Sacré Coeur, Notre dame and La Tour Eiffel.
The night we landed we went on a river cruise. Donald Trump was in Paris at the time for Bastille day. On the river cruise we saw 2 of Paris’s landmarks. The Eiffel Tower and Notre dame. Whilst on the river cruise our boat had to pull over because 6 armed boats were coming up behind us. Three passed us and in the middle of the 6 boats was a boat that Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron was on. They were going to have dinner at the Eiffel Tower.
In Paris we got around using the Metro which is an underground train with no driver. One day in Paris we went to Notre dame which is a massive catherdrill. There was a massive cueto get in. It took about 20 minutes to get in a we spend about 10 minutes inside. We ended up going so quickly because it started to get boring inside. It's far better on the outside. When we visited Notre dame it was bastille day so Paris was heavily guarded with the army all around the city.
The Arc de Triomphe was another Landmark in Paris. Arc de Triomphe is a roundabout. The busiest in the world. It is the only road in the world that insurance will not cover you on. To get to the center you can either be very risky and silly and run across the roundabout. Also you will get yelled at by a lot of drivers or you can take the underground tunnel. The Arc de Triomphe was my second favourite landmark in Paris.
We also went to sacre coeur. We just looked at the building walked up what was like 10,000 stairs then when we got to the top we realised there was a monorail that went up the hill. We went down in that because it was like 34 degrees when we were in Paris.
Finally La Tour Eiffel also known as the Eiffel Tower was in sight, it is also my favourite Landmark in Paris. It stands it ground 324 meters tall and it weighs 10,000 tonnes. I only went up to the second floor which is definitely high enough. My Family and I went up the Eiffel tower on a guide so we got to use the elevators. The Eiffel tower was one of the highlight of the trip for me. I was so happy I went to Paris on my amazing to Europe
