Welcome home, Sparky & Cheerio
“OMG” as I walked out the front door with my sister. I was so excited because today was the day I was going to see my new baby bunnies.. I hopped into the car and we were off. 10 minutes later I arrived at the private breeder’s house. This lady greeted us and we followed her excitedly. When we reached our destination to wear the bunnies were kept, I looked them for a few seconds and I was blow away by their cuteness. They were heaps little fluff balls hopping everywhere in a little pen. All of the bunnies were the same colour, dark brownish, greyish except one. He was probably the cutest out of all the other rabbits. He was pure black and had little brown eyes. My sister looked at him and she said that she wanted the black one. The lady handed her the little bunny and she took him delicately. She held the little rabbit against her chest. She looked down at him and saw his little nose twitching up and down. She put him in a little box beside her. The lady passed her the next rabbit. The next rabbit looked the same as all the other rabbits in the pen. But this rabbit was special because it was mine.
We put both of the tiny animals in a box and took them back to our car. Me and my sister hopped in and put the box on the backseat. We started moving and I turned round to see what curious creatures were doing. The black one was peeking its head at the top of the box. As he was doing that his ears would go up and down like a seesaw. My sister had turned around for a short while and saw his tiny head peek out the box. “I am going to call him Sparky”, said my sister. I had turned around and looked at the box again. I was wondering what to call the other one.
When we reached our house, we took the box with the curious rabbits inside and put them in their brand new cage. They were exploring the new home. They were sniffing everything and and tiny paws were making “pat pat”, on the floor. While I was looking at them, I was wondering what to call the brownish greyish one. I jumped onto the internet and scrolled through names for the little bunny. Me and my sister had were sitting on the couch and trying to find a name. It took ages to find one. I had been thinking about how he searching for stuff In his cage and he was being very curious about the things around him. “Maybe his name could be curio,” I said to my sister. “No wait, his name should be Cheerio,” my sister said. I thought about the name and it suited him. Cheerio, the brownish, greyish bunny. I thought about the name and hopped to the garage. I crouched to their cage and let them sniff my hand. Then I looked at them and said “Welcome home, Cheerio & Sparky.
