What if someone is new on the team? What kind of attitude do you think the rest of the team needs to have for a successful show? I think the team has to be very understanding, it must be so hard to learn such a complex dance from the beginning; mistakes are inevitable for the new member.
Identify 4 skills you would need to be a performer in STOMP?
You have to be rhythmical, creative, imaginative, and be a team player.
Why would you pay to see the STOMP show?I would pay to see the STOMP show because they are all unpredictable, and very intriguing. It is a very rare thing to see such talented performers, so I think it would be worth it to take a chunk of your time to watch them.
Explain the audition process?
What was challenging about creating body percussion as a group? It was tough because no one would really listen, because we were all sparking with new ideas and couldn’t wait to tell the rest of the team about them.
Which ‘instruments’ did you use to create rhythms? We used cups, spoons, rulers, hoola hoops, books, and a broom.
What did you learn and enjoy through this process?I learnt to listen to everyone’s ideas, and then build on them to create the final masterpiece we performed, so that everyone would be happy.
