I was really looking forward to going to my school for the first time. It was going to be my first Year at Salzburg Boys Primary School. I was thinking what it was going to be like. But when my mum told me that we we were going to get some school shoes I WAS OVER THE MOON with Joy.
The Journey to the shoe shop seemed a lot longer than it usually was. Maybe that was just because I was excited. We were driving for a little longer when the cart stopped still and my Mum hopped out. “Com’on Boy” She said. I stared up. Ivy and Creepers where tangled round the rocky walls. It looked like it was a little bit run down. But I did not care.
DING DONG, went the bell as the we walked into the doors of the shoe shop. The smell of Rubber hit us as we slowly walked through the lines of shelves of shoes. There seemed to be Millions of shoes. Black shoes, Brown shoes, Small shoes, Big shoes. I found one pair shoes that looked like my dad’s work shoes. I put the shoes on and they felt a bit like what I would think clown shoes would feel like. I put those back. The next ones seemed just right. I gave them to my mum and said “These ones are Great.” she went up to the till and poured out some coins on to the table and counted them one by one until she had gotten the right amount. She give them to me and said “All ours, take great care of them” I knew I would. I ran out of the shop and sat myself down on a flight of stairs and Hugged my new shoes and started to laugh.
I was even more excited for School!
